Important Note About Fast Charging Above 80%

Most DC fast chargers automatically reduce charging power after your battery reaches about 80% to protect battery health and prevent overheating. This means charging from 80% to 100% is much slower than from 20% to 80%.

This calculator assumes constant charging power for simplicity, so if you are calculating charging time above 80%, the real charging time may be longer than shown. For the most accurate results, use this tool for estimates up to 80% state of charge.
